Why iDerma?
What the iGrow® Hair Growth System has already accomplished for hair growth, the iDerma Facial Beautification System will be doing, to improve skin condition. iDerma solves many of the problems associated with conventional facial phototherapy treatments, such as lack of sufficient output and consistency of treatment. With just three 10-minute sessions per week, skin should start to look more youthful and supple, after eight weeks. Following the initial eight weeks, continue to use iDerma once or twice per week, to continue to improve and maintain enhanced skin tone and condition.
iDerma is the perfect alternative to hand-held, low-level light therapy (LLLT) and tabletop systems, whose inconvenient usage characteristics diminish the beneficial effects of phototherapy treatments. Both the 660nm and 940nm wavelengths used in the iDerma system have been shown to enhance the appearance of the skin, as well as increase the production of collagen. iDerma provides all of the benefits of a high-priced photofacial for a fraction of the cost of clinic-based therapy systems.
What Will It Do?
Improves the Condition of Aging Skin
Widely used by skin care professionals in spas, salons and medical offices, red LED light therapy reverses and improves the visible signs of aging, by stimulating deep cellular regeneration. It also helps heal redness and inflammation associated with acne blemishes, leaving the skin refreshed, toned and clear.
Another factor that makes iDerma effective is its use of Derma Pulse Technology™, a patented, proprietary function that allows the red and infrared light sources to penetrate deeper into the underlying skin, to provide more effective, lasting results.
The iDerma Facial Beautification System designed to:
skin
  • • Minimize fine lines and wrinkles
  • • Diminish crow's feet
  • • Heal red and inflamed blemishes
  • • Improve skin texture and tone
  • • Lighten freckles and age spots
  • • Reduce pore size
Enhances the Effectiveness of Your Skin Care Products
Extensive clinical research has proven that combining red light therapy with the specially formulated peptide preparations (such as the iDerma Light Activating Serum) can enhance wrinkle reduction and lead to an exceptional improvement in sagging skin, hyperpigmentation, and skin texture and tone. By helping your current skin care products penetrate deeper below the surface of the skin, the iDerma Facial Beautification System can also enhance their performance.

Problems with Traditional LLLT Treatments for Skin
There are currently a number of different ways that LLLT is administered to the face, but they all have significant shortfalls in providing effective and consistent results. Here are the three main delivery methods:
Hand-held Devices - Perhaps the most common form of phototherapy is the hand-held system. These types of systems are extremely burdensome and difficult to use, requiring the user to manually move the device across the entire face surface. While these units do get results, they traditionally have minimal output, which will produce fewer results than units with more surface coverage.
other products
Clinical LLLT Systems - These typically provide significantly higher output and are usually found in the offices of physicians, aesthetics practices and beauty salons. They provide full-surface coverage, but use is limited to appointed times. Protocols typically consist of one to two treatments per week, for several weeks, and then treatment is discontinued, denying the user of the full, ongoing benefits of facial LLLT.
Clinical LLLT Systems
Tabletop Home-Use Systems - These units consist of panels of LEDs that are stand-alone units that sit on a tabletop or vanity. Though of higher output than hand-held products, these units require the user to find a comfortable position where the lights can shine onto the treatment surface. Since the beam size of the LEDs is typically weaker with distance, these units do not provide consistency of use, and, therefore, will not produce optimum, consistent results.

Q & A
How does this compare to topicals?
The iDerma Facial Beautification System is a one-time investment that treats the underlying cause, rather than temporarily and superficially improving the skin's appearance.
Do you need to use the included iDerma serum for the light therapy mask to work? The iDerma LED Mask is effective and will produce positive results, independent of any serums or creams.
How long should I use this?
After the initial eight-week treatment period, a maintenance program ensures long-lasting results from the iDerma Facial Beautification System. We suggest treating once or twice per week, or as needed.
How long does it take to see results?
For some users, the skin looks and feels improved after several treatments; smoother and more hydrated skin takes on a natural radiant glow. Individual results will vary. The average user will show the most benefit after the initial eight-week treatment period.
What is an LED Facial?
An LED Facial is a technology-based skin treatment that uses specific wavelengths of natural light energy to restore skin's normal, healthy activity.
How does it work?
The energy delivered by the red and infrared light-emitting diodes (LEDs) enhances cellular metabolism. This, in turn, stimulates the body to build new collagen, increase circulation and improve the functioning of the lymphatic system. The result is younger, healthier-looking skin.
Is there proof that this technology works?
Clinical studies, scientific and medical research, independent testing and patient testimonials exist, to prove the efficacy of light therapy. Research conducted by NASA's space program has proven that near-infrared LED light therapy promotes wound healing and human tissue growth.
Are there any adverse effects from this treatment?
No. This treatment has no adverse reactions and no downtime. LED-emitting devices are classified by the FDA as possessing "non-significant risk," because they are completely safe and possess no possibility of harm from over-exposure.
Is the process abrasive or painful?
No. LED treatment is a gentle, painless, safe, non-invasive and non-abrasive treatment.
What is the recommended schedule for iDerma treatment?
Recommended use for the iDerma is 10 minutes, three times per week, for eight weeks, followed by regular maintenance of once or twice per week.
Is iDerma therapy a good complement to other skin care treatments?
Absolutely! It helps strengthen and rejuvenate the skin at a cellular level, so it amplifies the results achieved in any facial treatment.
Can I put my make-up back on immediately?
Yes, there is no downtime with this treatment.
Can I go out in the sun after this treatment?
Yes, the treatment does not increase photosensitivity. It is recommended that you apply a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB sunscreen every day. Sunscreen should be applied after every treatment.
Does this work for everyone?
While almost everyone can benefit from the use of light therapy, these treatments will have the greatest impact on skin with sluggish metabolism and slow cellular activity, showing visible signs of aging. Contraindications for light therapy include pregnancy, epilepsy, photoallergy, and medications that cause light sensitivity (such as Tetracycline). Also, if you are currently taking steroids or cortisone injections, you should not receive light therapy.
I am not sure iDerma will properly fit my head. Does the headband adjust?
The iDerma device is fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of sizes, using a dial adjustment to increase or decrease the diameter of the strap that secures the visor to the head and face. To ensure optimum comfort and a fully customized fit, the iDerma is also equipped with elastic foam cushioning pads that are customer-applied.
